Crew on this contract
The Fortinet Championship website was an agency-led development engagement. Duffion’s contribution was the custom WordPress theme and reusable content structures for that tournament-era implementation.
Development within an agency engagement
The Fortinet Championship project was delivered as agency/subcontract development. My contribution was the custom WordPress implementation within that engagement, with agency strategy, creative direction, and the client relationship remaining separately attributed.
A reusable theme implementation
I developed a Genesis child theme with ACF-backed content structures and reusable block templates. Homepage and article presentation sit within the same theme, giving the event’s publishing work a consistent implementation.
The reusable components are the important distinction in the development scope. Content can be organized through the theme’s structures instead of requiring every page to be treated as a separate piece of frontend code.
The Fortinet-era project
This case describes the delivered Fortinet-era implementation. It records the development contribution within a wider agency project, rather than presenting a later tournament website as the same build.
