Walmart Marketplace API
Walmart API integration experience at Sellers Mindset involved a custom connector that brought Marketplace pricing into the Google Sheets its business already used. The bridge retrieved the lowest current listed price for products in the client’s library, giving downstream workflows a pricing input.
Where the engineering matters
The important boundary was between the marketplace response, the product being priced, and the sheet consumed by the client’s existing processes. The delivered work joined those systems without asking the business to replace its established spreadsheet workflow.
Work represented in the portfolio
- Product-library price lookups through Walmart Marketplace API
- Lowest listed-price results made available in Google Sheets
- Pricing inputs for the client’s existing local workflows and online stores
This connector was delivered and used for several years, until the business closed. The companion Google Sheets dossier covers the receiving side of the bridge.
Walmart API integration experience: planning a similar project
The Sellers Mindset example starts with a business workflow already in place. The connector supplied a pricing input to the client’s sheets. For a similar brief, identify the products, approved source access and the downstream decisions that use each value.
