Sellers Mindset — Marketplace Pricing Bridge

Retired Other

The result

A delivered Google Sheets pricing connector used for several years before the business closed.

The challenge

Bring the lowest current Walmart Marketplace listing price into the product library the business already managed in Google Sheets.

What shipped

The connector queried Walmart’s Marketplace API for products in the business’s library and populated their Google Sheet with the lowest current listed price. Those sheets fed existing local workflows and online stores.

  • Google Sheets connector plugin
  • Walmart Marketplace API integration
  • Lowest listed-price retrieval for catalog products
  • Sheet-based input to existing workflows and stores

The Sellers Mindset pricing integration supplied marketplace prices to the Google Sheets the business already used. The delivered connector remained in use for several years before the business closed.

Pricing inside the workflow the business already used

Sellers Mindset maintained its product library in Google Sheets and used those sheets to feed local processes and online stores. The useful integration point was therefore the spreadsheet itself: marketplace pricing needed to arrive where the rest of the product information already lived.

A purpose-built pricing connector

I built a connector plugin that queried Walmart’s Marketplace API for products in the library and brought the lowest current listed price into the Google Sheet. That made the external pricing information available to the existing downstream flows.

The bridge focused on a specific job. It connected marketplace data with the business’s established operating format, rather than requiring a replacement catalog application before the information could be used.

Delivered and used for several years

The connector was completed and used for a few years until the business closed. It is now retired. The project illustrates how a focused API integration can extend an existing workflow without changing the tools its users depend on.

What this project clarifies

The sheet was an existing operating format, not an incidental export destination. That explains why the connector focused on product-level prices in the established library rather than requiring a replacement catalog application.
