Crew on this contract
Access Event Solutions development included most of the marketing website and a contribution to Mission Control’s event application. This work was completed as an employee, with shared ownership of the wider product.
Marketing and event operations
My work at Access Event Solutions covered both the public marketing website and the software used around events. I built most of the marketing site while employed there and contributed to Mission Control, the event-management application.
The public website
The marketing site presented the company and its event products, with product information and quote-request paths. The WordPress source retains the existing D4 theme foundation and customized product, request-form, and quote-email templates.
Mission Control and badge scanning
I also helped build Mission Control’s event-management application, including badge scanning in a native Android implementation. That work extended the engagement into the on-site event workflow, where the application had to support the people handling badges rather than only visitors browsing a marketing page.
Professional work with shared ownership
This case includes work completed as an employee, and the application was a collaborative contribution. The distinction is intentional: I built much of the marketing site and helped develop the event application, without claiming sole authorship of the wider product.
Related experience: Crux Events and CampViews mobile workflows.
