Website development and the environment behind it

LeGrande Law combines a custom legal website with ongoing infrastructure work. I developed the Genesis child theme and its reusable content components, then supported the PHP runtime and Redis object-cache layer on DigitalOcean.

Components for a publishing workflow

The theme includes homepage presentation, search, testimonials, and latest-post blocks. Each supports a different route through the firm’s content: direct service information, a specific search, supporting client feedback, or recent articles.

Keeping those pieces reusable makes the website’s presentation consistent while allowing the content itself to change. The implementation separates the firm’s publishing needs from the underlying theme code.

Maintaining the platform as well as the pages

The engagement includes PHP runtime upgrades and Redis object caching. Those are operating concerns beneath the visible site, and they matter to keeping an established WordPress implementation maintainable over time.

What this project clarifies

A search component or article block belongs to the publishing experience, while runtime and cache changes belong to application operation. This engagement brings both responsibilities into the same website context.
