Crew on this contract
The Tahoe Expedition Academy rebuild delivered a custom WordPress publishing foundation alongside its AQInfo integration. The school used the build for years before changing platforms.
A full school-website rebuild
I delivered a full custom WordPress rebuild for Tahoe Expedition Academy. The work gave the school a Duffion-authored theme foundation for its publishing, distinct from the older inherited theme implementation.
Custom publishing and a school-specific integration
The rebuilt site combined the theme and content presentation with the AQInfo air-quality integration. That plugin connected PurpleAir sensor readings to the school’s existing website, with its own configurable retrieval and display workflow.
The theme work and the integration served different needs within the same publishing environment: one shaped the school’s website, while the other made a specific external data source available to its audience.
Years of use and strong search visibility
The school used the delivered theme for years. During that period, the site maintained leading search rankings in my experience managing the work. That is a historical account of the engagement, rather than a claim about rankings on the school’s current platform.
Tahoe Expedition Academy has since moved to another platform, so this rebuild is retired. The AQInfo case study documents the plugin’s approximately five years of use, and Tahoe Summer Camps covers related educational website work.
