The challenge

Bring competitive StarCraft II events to a viewing audience through IMBAtv’s broadcasts and community tournaments.

What shipped

IMBAtv’s documented history includes recurring tournament coverage, its own IMBAlonian Star Cup, and showmatches, with my role recorded as main streamer and CEO.

  • StarCraft II live broadcasting as mcDuffs
  • IMBAtv leadership and streaming
  • Tournament coverage within a wider caster team
  • IMBAtv-organized community competitions

The mcDuffs StarCraft broadcasting record covers my work as IMBAtv’s main streamer and CEO. The tournament history below credits the channel and its wider team rather than assigning every broadcast to one person.

Broadcasting as mcDuffs

My StarCraft II work was part of IMBAtv, where I served as main streamer and CEO under the name mcDuffs. The public Liquipedia record documents the channel’s tournament coverage and its wider team of casters and community contributors.

A documented tournament history

The channel covered Go4SC2 ESL, CraftCup, Alien Invasion Weekly Cup, the 2012 Ritmix Russian StarCraft II League Season 2, and GIGABYTE Cup. IMBAtv also ran its own events, including the IMBAlonian Star Cup and monthly showmatches.

These are channel and team credits; they are not a claim that I personally cast every listed match. They establish a concrete history behind the esports work.

What this project clarifies

Broadcast production and the current software rebuild are separate kinds of work. The tournament record establishes the brand’s history; the new platform case describes the development now in progress.
